Our Mexico City Office Won Best Digital Agency — Two Years Running

Two years in a row. That's what the Mexico City team pulled off, and I couldn't be prouder of them.

2020 was a brutal year for most companies. Entire industries got flipped upside down. Businesses that had ignored digital for years were suddenly scrambling to exist online. A lot of them didn't make it. The ones that did had to move fast, figure things out without a playbook, and lean hard on partners who knew what they were doing.

That's where our team showed up. Pablo Hernández O'Hagan, our CEO and founder, has been clear about what got them through it: the ability to move at high speed when everything around you is uncertain. That's not a skill you train for in a calm year. 2020 forced it.

2019 had already been one of the strongest years in the Mexico office's history. The team was working with some of the best-known brands in the country, building websites, e-commerce platforms, apps, and full digital marketing programs. So going into 2020, the bar was already high.

They cleared it anyway. Despite COVID-19, the office kept its client roster, brought in new ones, and stayed focused on doing the work well. They also received over ten thousand job applications for open roles that year, which says something about how the agency was perceived even in the middle of a crisis. The people they hired brought real knowledge and raised the level of the whole team.

Adaptation. Learning. Passion. Those aren't words you put on a slide deck — they're what happened here. The team understood that winning an award like this a second time meant staying hungry, asking hard questions, and not assuming last year's approach would work this year.

The questions they kept coming back to were simple but honest: What does the world look like right now? How are people connecting? How are they buying, consuming, deciding? Staying relevant means asking those questions constantly, not just when a crisis forces you to.

Congratulations to everyone on the Mexico City team. This one was earned.
